Ruta A1

Ein Spanischkurs zum Anschauen: jede Regel als Bild, jede Übung mit Sofortkontrolle. Neun Module, aufeinander aufgebaut, mit eingebautemA Spanish course you can look at: every rule as a picture, every exercise checked on the spot. Nine modules, each building on the last, with a built-in Übungsbuch. Alle Erklärungen auf Deutsch, alles zum Üben auf Spanisch.workbook. All the explanations in English, everything to practise in Spanish.

So funktioniert jedes Modul. How every module works. Sechs Schritte, immer in derselben Reihenfolge:Six steps, always in the same order: META — was ich danach sagen kann ·— what I can say afterwards · MIRA — die Wörter als Bild ·— the words as a picture · OBSERVA — die Regel, gezeichnet ·— the rule, drawn · PRACTICA — Übungen, die sich selbst korrigieren ·— exercises that mark themselves · HABLA — laut sprechen ·— say it out loud · COMPRUEBA — Selbsttest.— self-test.

Bei den Übungen gibt es drei Ergebnisse:The exercises give you three results: richtigright, fastalmost (richtig, aber ein Akzent fehlt) und(right, but an accent is missing) and falschwrong. Das. The fastalmost ist Absicht — Akzente sind kein Schönheitsfehler, aber auch kein Grund, von vorne anzufangen.is deliberate — accents are not a cosmetic detail, but they are no reason to start over either.

Die Reihenfolge der neun Module steht unterThe order of the nine modules is under La ruta completa. Die Seiten, die dabei helfen, stehen unter. The sites that help alongside it are under Las herramientas. Erst der Abschnitt hier, dann die Nummern im Buch mit der Hand.. First the section here, then the numbers in the book by hand.

Three buttons under every exercise. Comprobar checks it. Otra vez wipes it and starts over — on the verb drills with different verbs, so you learn the forms rather than memorising the answers. Ver solución shows the answer when you are stuck. And while In order is switched on at the top, the next exercise stays blurred until this one is right — if you want past it anyway, the link to do that sits on the lock itself.

De cien a milDe cien a milDie Hunderter — und die drei, die anders aussehenThe hundreds — and the three that look different

Ab hier wird es wieder leicht: Die Hunderter heißen einfachFrom here it gets easy again: the hundreds are simply ‑cientos hinter der Grundzahl. Nur drei bauen sich anders — und die musst du wirklich auswendig lernen, weil dein Kopf immer die naheliegende Form bilden will.stuck onto the basic number. Only three are built differently — and those you really do have to memorise, because your head will always want to build the obvious form instead.

Und ab 200 richten sich die Hunderter nach dem Substantiv — das ist die einzige Stelle, an der Zahlen im Spanischen ein Geschlecht haben.. And from 200 on, the hundreds agree with the noun — the one place in Spanish where numbers have a gender at all.

2.1 · El verbo tiene dos partesVorne die Bedeutung, hinten die PersonMeaning at the front, person at the back

Ein spanisches Verb ist wie ein Wort mit Wechselschild. DerA Spanish verb is like a word with a swappable sign on the end. The vordere Teilfront part sagt, says waswhat passiert, und ändert sich nie. Deris happening, and never changes. The hintere Teilback part sagt, says werwho es tut, und wird ausgetauscht. Genau wie im Deutschen:is doing it, and gets swapped out. Exactly as in German: mach‑en → ich mach‑e, du mach‑st.

2.4 · Los verbos reflexivosWenn ich es mit mir selbst macheWhen I do it to myself

Manche Verben tragen im Infinitiv einSome verbs carry a ‑se am Ende:at the end of the infinitive: levantarse, ducharse, llamarse, lavarse. Dieses. That se heißt „sich“. Sobald du einen Satz baust, means “self”. As soon as you build a sentence, löst es sich hinten ab und springt nach vorneit comes off the back and jumps to the front — und verwandelt sich dabei je nach Person.— changing shape according to the person.

levantar se me levanto ich stehe aufI get up DEUTSCHGERMANESPAÑOL ich wasche mich me lavo — steht hinten— goes after — steht vorne— goes before
Es ist dasselbe „sich“ wie im Deutschen. Nur der Platz im Satz ist anders — und der ist im Spanischen immer derselbe: direkt vor dem Verb.It is the same “self” as in German or English — ich wasche mich, I wash myself, both with the little word sitting after the verb. Only the position differs, and in Spanish it is always the same: directly before the verb.

2.5 · La familia de los reflexivosDie Reflexiven, nach Tageszeit sortiertThe reflexives, sorted by time of day

Fast alles, was du an einem Tag mit dir selbst machst, ist im Spanischen reflexiv. Deshalb lohnt es sich, sie nicht alphabetisch zu lernen, sondern in der Reihenfolge, in der du sie brauchst — vom Aufwachen bis zum Einschlafen.Almost everything you do to yourself in the course of a day is reflexive in Spanish. Warum zwei davon anders aussehenWhy two of them look odd

Cepillarse ist völlig regelmäßig. Despertarse und vestirse haben zusätzlich einen Stiefel aus Modul 6: e→ie und e→i. Beachte, wo der Wechsel nicht passiert — bei nosotros und vosotros. Das reflexive Pronomen davor ändert daran gar nichts; es ist einfach ein Wörtchen mehr.Cepillarse is perfectly regular. Despertarse and vestirse also carry a boot from Module 6: e→ie and e→i. Notice where the change does not happen — at nosotros and vosotros. The reflexive pronoun in front changes none of that; it is simply one more little word.

Vielleicht streicht deine Lehrerin vosotros durch und markiert vos markiert — in Argentinien ist das die normale Du‑Form. Beides ist richtig; das Buch übt vosotros, im Gespräch mit ihr hörst du vos.Your teacher may well cross out vosotros and mark vos — in Argentina that is the ordinary “you”. Both are correct; the book drills vosotros, and in conversation with her you will hear vos.

Die meisten dieser Verben gibt es auch ohne Pronomen. Dann geht die Handlung nach draußen, an jemand anderen. Mit Pronomen kommt sie zu mir zurück.Most of these verbs exist without the pronoun too. Then the action goes outwards, to somebody else. With the pronoun it comes back to me.

Das Deutsche macht genau dasselbe: ich wasche mir die Hände, ich putze mir die Zähne. Du kennst die Regel also längst — sie steht dir nur im Englischen im Weg, wo es I wash my hands heißt.German does exactly the same: ich wasche mir die Hände, ich putze mir die Zähne — the article, not the possessive. English is the odd one out here with I wash my hands, so this is one place to trust German over English.

ObservaDie Uhr hat zwei HälftenThe clock has two halves

5.1 · ¿Qué hora es?Wie spät ist es?What time is it?

Die spanische Uhr ist einfacher als die deutsche, weil esThe Spanish clock splits the hour kein „halb neun“the same way English does gibt. Du brauchst nur zwei Wörter —. You need only two words — y undand menos — und eine einzige Regel:— and one rule: bis zur Sechs zählst du hinauf, danach zählst du zur nächsten Stunde hinunter.up to the half hour you count up, and from the half hour on you count down to the next hour.

12123 4567 891011 y DAZUADD menos WEGOFF Son las tres. Son las tres y cinco. Son las tres y cuarto. Son las tres y veinte. Son las tres y media. Son las cuatro menos veinticinco. Ab der Sechs kippt der Satz: du nennst nicht mehr die vergangene Stunde, sondern die kommende. At the half hour the sentence flips: you stop naming the hour that has passed and name the one that is coming. So 3:35 heißt also nicht „drei und fünfunddreißig“, sondernis not “three thirty-five” but las cuatro menos veinticinco — vier minus fünfundzwanzig.— twenty-five to four, word for word what you already say in English.

Die häufigste Unregelmäßigkeit im Spanischen hat eine Form, die man sehen kann. Bei diesen Verben ändert sichThe most common irregularity in Spanish has a shape you can see. In these verbs ein Vokal in der Mitte des Wortesone vowel in the middle of the word — aber nicht überall. Er ändert sich in vier von sechs Formen, und wenn du diese vier einkreist, entsteht einchanges — but not everywhere. It changes in four of the six forms, and if you circle those four, a Stiefelboot. Die zwei Formen außerhalb des Stiefels —appears. The two forms outside the boot — nosotros undand vosotros — bleiben brav regelmäßig.— stay obediently regular.

Die Form ist ein Stiefel: das lange Bein ist die linke Spalte, der Fuß istThe shape is a boot: the long leg is the left column, the foot is ellos. Nur. Only nosotros undand vosotros bleiben draußen. Und genau wie beistay outside. And just as in German fahren – du fährst – wir fahren springt der Vokal in manchen Formen um und in anderen nicht — das Muster kennst du also längst., the vowel jumps in some forms and not in others — so the pattern is one you have known for a long time.
Warum ausgerechnet dort? Why there of all places?

Weil in den vier Stiefel‑Formen die Betonung auf dem Vokal liegt —Because in the four boot forms the stress falls on that vowel — quiero — und in den anderen zwei nicht:— and in the other two it does not: queremos. Der betonte Vokal bricht auf, der unbetonte bleibt. Du musst das nicht wissen, um es zu können, aber es erklärt, warum die Ausnahme immer an derselben Stelle sitzt.. The stressed vowel breaks open, the unstressed one stays put. You do not need to know this in order to do it, but it explains why the exception always sits in the same spot.

Verwandtschaftswörter lernt man nicht als Liste, sondern alsYou don't learn relationship words as a list, you learn them as a Position im Bildposition in a picture. Such dir eine Person im Baum aus und geh von ihr aus in alle Richtungen — nach oben, zur Seite, nach unten.. Pick a person in the tree and work outwards from them in every direction — up, sideways, down.

Same with los hermanos = Geschwister,= the siblings, los abuelos = Großeltern,= the grandparents, los hijos = Kinder,= the children, los tíos = Onkel und Tante. Eine gemischte Gruppe steht im Spanischen immer im männlichen Plural — auch wenn es neunundneunzig Frauen und ein Mann sind.= the aunt and uncle. Where English reaches for a separate word, Spanish simply reuses the masculine plural for a mixed group — even if it's ninety-nine women and one man.

Warum diese ReihenfolgeWhy this orderNach dem, was aufeinander aufbautBy what builds on what

Die meisten Kurse sind nach Themen sortiert — Familie, Wohnung, Essen. Dieser ist danach sortiert, was man zuerst braucht, um das Nächste überhaupt lesen zu können. Modul 0 und 1 kommen an den Anfang, weil ohne Laute, Zahlen und Artikel jeder weitere Satz nur halb ankommt. Modul 2 ist der Motor: sobald die Endungen sitzen, kostet jedes neue Verb fast nichts mehr. Erst danach wird es thematisch. Most courses are sorted by topic — family, the home, food. This one is sorted by what you need first in order to read the next thing at all. Modules 0 and 1 come first, because without the sounds, the numbers and the articles every later sentence only half arrives. Module 2 is the engine: once the endings sit, every new verb costs almost nothing. Only after that does it turn thematic.

Deshalb steht der Stiefel der unregelmäßigen Verben in Modul 6 und nicht in Modul 2, obwohl beides Verben sind: ein Verb, das sich in der Mitte ändert, ergibt erst Sinn, wenn die regelmäßige Form im Ohr liegt. That is why the boot of the irregular verbs sits in Module 6 and not in Module 2, even though both are about verbs: a verb that changes in the middle only makes sense once the regular form is in your ear.

Wie man damit arbeitetHow to work with itEin Abschnitt, dann aufhörenOne section, then stop

Ein Abschnitt pro Sitzung, nicht ein Modul. Lies die Erklärung, schau das Bild an, mach die Übungen darunter — und hör auf, wenn sie stimmen. Zwanzig Minuten an drei Tagen bringen mehr als eine Stunde am Sonntag; das ist keine Floskel, sondern der Grund, warum die Übungen bei jedem neuen Versuch andere Wörter ziehen. One section per sitting, not one module. Read the explanation, look at the picture, do the exercises underneath — and stop when they come out right. Twenty minutes on three days beats an hour on Sunday; that is not a platitude but the reason the exercises draw different words on every fresh attempt.
